Operations Associate

Denver — Full Time — Hybrid

BaseUp creates technology to give employees flexible access to their office parking. As businesses transition to hybrid working, our products support them with better commuting options. Our dedicated team, market-leading technology, and industry partnerships are reshaping how businesses and employees think about office parking.

We launched in Australia in 2017, since then we’ve worked with some of the world's largest employers and property groups to make over 1 million commutes a little easier. In 2021 we launched our first U.S. office to bring flexibility to the world’s largest parking market.  

About the role

We’re looking for someone to join BaseUp's U.S. operations team. This is a critical role working with the founders and the operation leaders of both the Australian and the U.S. markets.  You’ll be working across all post-sales functions including but not limited to implementations, customer success, and client support.

Some sample activities are below:

  • Guiding clients through the launch process;
  • Strategizing with clients to best utilize BaseUp;
  • Handling client inquiries and troubleshooting;
  • Coordinating hardware installations;
  • Partnering with other departments (e.g. sales, tech, etc.) to make our clients successful
  • Potential travel to client sites for implementation and support activities

Salary range: $60,000-$70,000

About our technology

BaseUp has a modern, cloud-based, service-oriented architecture (not microservices!), with a heavy focus on automation and efficient tooling:

  • Frontends are built in TypeScript with React;
  • Containerised backend services are developed in TypeScript and Go and built using Bazel, for fast, reproducible builds;
  • CI/CD runs in GitHub and Terraform Cloud — deployment of service updates takes a matter of minutes;
  • Infrastructure runs on Google Cloud Platform;
  • DataDog is our centralized observability and security platform, and we integrate with Auth0, Stripe and Twilio; and
  • Custom hardware for controlling car park access.

About you

This is a critical role for BaseUp’s U.S. team. If you’re the type of person that’s comfortable with ambiguity, can coordinate multiple responsibilities, and wants autonomy, we want to hear from you.

Our ideal candidates will have:

  • Experience working in the technology and/or software space;
  • ​​Proficient in facilitating internal and external meetings with: prepared agendas, clear goals and objectives, and processes for tracking decisions, issues and action items;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/activities simultaneously;
  • Strong personal initiative and drive to execute with minimal oversight;
  • Proficient in Excel or other spreadsheet programs;
  • Experience with SalesForce, Atlassian products, and ZenDesk.  A plus if you can build your own reports
